Patricia Sullivan, PhD

Patricia Sullivan, PhD, currently serves as the Interim Director of the Physical Science Laboratory (PSL) and as Associate Dean for Outreach and Recruitment in the College of Engineering. As Associate Dean, she leads the College’s undergraduate recruiting efforts and statewide engineering extension programs focused on STEM outreach, technical business assistance, and professional development for business and industry professionals. She has extensive ties with industry organizations across New Mexico and the Western states, including serving as a Commissioner on the Western Interstate Commission on Higher Education. Her academic background is in energy policy, renewable energy integration, and workforce development. She also has extensive experience in advancing STEM educational opportunities for under-represented populations.
