Joanne Esparza

Joanne Esparza serves as the Director for PSL’s Information Sciences and Security Systems (ISSS) managing our efforts around electronic warfare, countermeasures, cybersecurity, modeling and simulation, and atmospheric research. Joanne currently oversees the 10-year, $92.8 contract with Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Data and Analysis Center (DAC), part of the U.S. Army Futures Command. Joanne joined the PSL team in 1979 and has served in various capacities to include PSL deputy director (2012-2015) and PSL interim director (2015-2018) while serving as a program manager for the various large DoD contracts and cooperative agreements Joanne, earned her bachelor’s in mathematics from Stanford University in 1974.
